The precedent exists, in documents no one has time to search

Whether a deviation has come up before, which corrective action was taken, what the current procedure says to do: the answers are on record. They sit across hundreds of procedures, a CAPA log going back years, and audit findings filed by date. Finding one means knowing it exists and reading until you hit it, so in practice the team asks the person who was there, and when that person is out, the work waits.

The knowledge is not missing. It is unsearchable at the speed the work moves.

One agent reads the procedures, the CAPA history, and the prior findings together

We build an agent over the quality record: the controlled procedures at their current revision, the CAPA and nonconformance history, and the prior audit findings. Ask whether a deviation has been seen before, what the effective procedure requires, or how a similar finding was resolved, and it answers from all three at once instead of from whichever one you thought to open.

It reads the effective revision, not a stale copy, because it sits on the same controlled record the documents live in.

Every answer carries its citation, so it can be checked

Each answer names the source behind it: the procedure and revision, the CAPA number, the finding. In a regulated setting an answer you cannot trace is an answer you cannot use, so the agent proposes and cites, and a person confirms against the source before acting on it. It never closes a record or signs anything on its own.

The agent takes the hunt off the team and leaves the judgment with it. What it returns is a starting point with its evidence attached, not a verdict.
